You Do NOT Have To Read Everything!

Okay well, you can call me one of these two names, Katia, or Beckett. I am here to propose an idea, something that most of you might be scared away at the thought of. Anyways, my idea is a modern day based role play in the Supernatural universe. Though not your average Supernatural creatures, sure there will be Vampires, Werewolves, and the likes, but there will also be other things such as Selkies, Kelpies, Pixies, and a few of the races that my friend and I have made up.

Now I expect this role play to be at least semi-literate, with the role players being able to post two paragraphs (At the MINIMUM) I tend to post over five+ paragraphs, and we need people who can keep up. I understand writers block and everything, but if everyone posts a lot then writers block wont be a problem, (Since most people I know go off of each others posts to make their own)

Anyways, here is some info that is still in the editing process.

The year is 2011 (This year) the date is October 30th, on the eve of Halloween. An organization known as CIU (Child's intelligence Unit) has been dispatched to solve the case of three murdered humans, all children, all killed in the same way. This leads to an ongoing investigation, that ends up revealing a world that these people didn't know. A world of supernatural wonders, that could decide the future for every human on earth.

So anyways, yeah that was the idea. The CIU will be run solely by teenagers, though funded by the government. Only the government will know about these kids having Extra sensory abilities, such as Telepathy. Each of them have their own abilities that will help them out on the case.

On the other side of the role play (This will be either Tabbed, or in the actual Forums which I prefer) we have the world of Supernatural Creatures, all headed by a council or Coven. Each Coven is at war with each other, and with this the killing spree of humans has begun. When the CIU stumbles upon one of the Councils/Covens, everything is thrown into chaos, and the lives of every human on earth is in danger because of this.

Now then your probably wondering what this danger is eh. Well, a Council of joint forces known as the Adriac Council, has formed together under the jurisdiction of the high council (The first ever supernatural made council, also known to rule over all the others) unbeknownst to the High Council, Adriac has other plans, and that my friends, is all you should know about them for now.

So if your interested, which I am assuming since you have read this far you are, then I shall tell you of the Species and Councils/Covens. First up is Species, there can only be two people to each Species just to even things out.

The Basics:

Vampires: Image

Think they were myths? Well they arnt. Naturally, there are many different forms of Vampires, though the most famous would have to be the blood sucker that resides in america. Vampires live by feeding off of the life essence of living creatures (blood) mainly to refuel their own life essence (By using the oxygen in blood) if they go without Blood for more then a day then a frenzy like lust called Bloodlust will come over them, turning their eyes into a shade of red and twisting their faces until they look as inhuman as possible. There are many ways to kill a vampire, though the most known way is a wooden stake through the heart, you can also burn a vampire, chop its head off, or starve it wich will eventually kill it. the "Tell" that lets you know that they are Vampires is the fangs and eyes, which unlike a Soul Eaters eyes a Vampires eyes become a shocking bright red color (If unfed) but are naturally a light brownish color. There are other names for Vampires, such as Day Walkers, or Leeches.

Werewolves:

Ah my favorite creatures so far, our anti-social werewolves! Though they are not really anti-social, they just prefer their own kind over any other kind. Every full moon these beasties turn into...Well Beasties. Half human Half wolf creatures, that walk on their hind legs and are covered in course fur. There is no way to tell a Werewolf from another living being, so its hard to know if your talking to one. Hey you might even be friends with one, though Werewolves often run in packs, they do sometimes have control over themselves. Against all myths Werewolves do not eat humans, but they will attack one if it comes near enough (Seeing as the smell drives them crazy) They can be killed by a silver bullet to the heart, Head, or spine. Or by simply chopping off the werewolves head.

Zombies:

Whooo Zombies, anyways, they are the under dogs of the Supernatural world, the scourge that someday might come out of hiding just to give us that Zombie apocalypse that we have been waiting for. (Just kidding) anyways, Zombies are well....Zombies, with rotting flesh, yellowing eyes, and falling off limbs. They come out during the night, and sometimes they can actually work among us humans (Scary right) The Body Shop is where they get the fresh parts they need (So that they dont ever die) And despite all of the idiotic Myths, they eat worms, rodents, and other such disgusting creatures that scurry around. They can be killed easy enough, so there isn't much worry about them. But if you plan on killing a zombie, make sure its actually dead before you go near it, because pissing one of these little buggers off isn't that great.

Ghost:

Ah the ghosts, yes these are probably either the most dangerous, or non dangerous species ever. Depending on what sub-species. Since there are to many to name we will just refer to them as ghosts. Most ghosts, (Excluding Poltergeists) Will not "Haunt" Or "Kill" Humans for the fun of it, in fact, most ghosts are just searching for a way to the after life. Though most dont get this privilege. Ghosts cant really be seen unless they touch you, wich most wont unless forced to. Accidentle touches dont count either. A way to tell that you have been touched by a ghost is the cold shivery feeling, or the feeling of an electric shock. Sometimes you can even hear their breathing. Once they touch you, you can see them clearly, as either cold solid bodied humans (Depending on what type of Ghost) Or translucent figures.

Witchs:Image

You know that pretty little lady your talking to, thinking about asking out? Yeah that's a witch. By day these woman and men (Sorcerers) are beautiful people, but by night when the moon comes up they become their true forms, ugly woman and men with wrinkled faces and warts. It is a curse that they all must bear, and besides the fact that they are "Magic" they still cannot make themselves young unless they take the souls of one hundred children and make a potion out of it. Though non will do that since the Council is always watching. For the most part, if your nice to a witch they wont do anything to you, but the moment you cross them...Well, that's a different story. They do cast spells (I will post a list of usable spells) and create potions. There is one way to kill a witch, and that is burning them. There is no way to tell a witch from a human, until night falls.

Fae:

Fairies:

Fairies, our wonderful magic users of the woodland. Well actually not all fairies are nature based, such as the light fairy, who often resides within industrialized places. Fairies wings are translucent and by day are completely invisible. But by night with the moon shining on them they are clearly visible. Fairies can be told apart from humans by their eyes and features, their eyes are often exotic colors (Orange, purple yellow, red ect ect ect depending on what type they are) and they look almost child-like, in an adult way that is. Most fairies are slender, and tall , and can easily manipulate people. Fairies are both male and female, though Males tend to be larger, with more muscle, and have no wings. Fairies can control Fae magic, which includes, wind, water, earth, moon, sun, light, dark, shadow, nature, ect ect ect. Which is why they share Coven with the witches and Elves.

Pixies:

Fairy look a likes, though users of dark fae magic. Not all Pixies are bad but the majority are out of control. They look like Fairies, but they are about 3 inches tall, with moth wings, and child-like looks. Pixies eat meat, fresh meat that is, and you wont know if you have been taken a bite out of by a pixie until you see the little bugger. If you get bitten by a Pixie you will immediately go into a trance, where you hallucinate heavily until given the anti-dote. Pixie saliva has highly hallucinogenic qualities that can be deadly to supernaturals and humans a like, which is why the Council always keeps bottles of anti-Pixie juice. Killing a Pixie is a horrid sight, you must cut of their heads, which at first wont hinder them (Like a chicken) meaning the Pixie will still struggle even when its head is off. Pixies also tend to be males, but a few females here and there are not uncommon.

Elves:

Elves are like Fairies without wings, their "Tell" sign is their ears, which are pointed and larger then a humans. Their eyes are also slitted like a cats eyes, and they tend to be more beautiful then any human you have ever seen. Female Elves are magic users, like Fairies and can manipulate the same Fae magic as Fairies can. Male Elves are warriors, who do not dabble in magic, but defend anybody with sword and dist. Elves are said to be elegant creatures, who are regal and mysterious in their own ways. Killing them is as easy as killing humans, though they recover faster so you would have to hurt them more then you would a human.

Dwarves:

They are so cute! (Ahem just kidding) Anyways, Dwarves are mostly seen as Black smiths and warriors, tending to be Male more then Female. and nearly always carrying around a sword or hammer. They are not like the snow white Dwarves, and are most of the time angry and bitter, though that's not all of the time. They are short and squat creatures, often sporting beards, and pointed hats. To Kill a dwarf is easy, simply shove a silver dagger through its stomach, which will make instant combustion.

Foreign:

Soul Eaters: Image

Also known as Russian Vampires, they are by default exactly like Vampires, but are not completely the same. A change in blood type has added extra things, such as the fact that they do not drink blood, but instead, suck the soul from a human heart, then devour what is left. It is a brutal feeding practice, and normally even disgusts their own kind. Sometimes a Soul Eater will feed off of its own kind, which results in a new breed of Soul Eaters called Soule Eatres. They are weak only against bright lights, and must cover their eyes lest they wish to have their eyes burnt out. By default, Soul Eaters come from Russia, seeing as that is their origins, though a Soul Eater can infect a normal human, it is highly illegal among their Coven, and is something that if done in the wrong way could kill both the Soul Eater, and the human it is attempting to change. One way to kill a Soul Eater is to rip their hearts out, which is where all the human souls that they have devoured reside, another way is to stab them in the heart with any sharp object you can find, or to force them to swallow anything iron based. The "Tell" that lets you know that they are a Soul Eater will be their eyes, which by day are always covered by sunglasses. But at night, you can see them clearly, instead of the normal whites in your eye, the eye of a Soul Eater is completely black, except for the iris.

Soule Eatres: (^See Soul Eaters for more info) Soule Eatres are the opposite of Soul Eaters, despite looking the same, and being able to be killed the same way. After devouring the souls of their own kind they gain immense power, and are able to control shadows, though this can also be a trait acquired by eating the soul of an Umbra. They can be killed the same way as their Soul Eater brethren, but are much harder to defeat since they have long claws, fangs, and are much more dangerous. Their eyes are the only thing that are different from Soul Eaters, and are all black, with red irises.

Avis:Image

Bird creatures that are cursed by witches, formerly being humans who crossed a witch, they have the beak, facial features, feathers and other features of a bird, including wings. But during the day they are unable to go outside because of this, but at night, when they turn back into their human selves, they are able to roam around freely. They are naturally not a trouble within the supernatural community and act nearly exactly like birds. There are no recorded special ways to kill an Avis, but since they are so kind and non dangerous there is no reason to kill them.

Umbra:Image

In all forms of the word, Umbra are Shadows, that can use "Shadow" Magic, making them in league with witches. Nobody knows how these creatures became, they just did, and most of the time they take form of someones shadow to get around. Though if they really need to they can turn into humans themselves, though this isn't a perfect transformations, they will have no features what so ever, ad all of them look the same. No eyes, ears, nose, mouths, or anything else, they dont even have hair or clothes. But it is easy to disguise themselves as humans. There is no possible way to kill an umbra while it is in shadow form. But in human form it can be killed easily.

Sea Creatures:

Selkies:Image

Selkies are strictly female, creatures who look like Seals, with human-esque forms. Though they can shed their seal skin and walk on land looking like a human, it is highly frowned upon. If a human steals a Selkies skin it is unable to return to the sea, and if its skin is destroyed or burned, then the Selkie will belong to the person who destroyed their skin, becoming a wife of a sorts. Selkies are beautiful woman, but with their Skins on they are horrid creatures, with razor sharp teeth, and twisted limbs. If a Selkie finds it skin it will return to the water on instinct, and never go back on land for seven whole years. Selkies can be killed like any other human.

Mermaids:Image

Mermaids, both Male (Mermen) and female are wicked creatures with beautiful voices and looks that if you get close to, will drag you down into the depths of the ocean and devour you. Unlike their beautiful outer appearanced, once they go back into the water, they row gills, fins, and razor sharp teeth, used to devour humans then and there. Mermaids can be found in groups at time, and can be killed by a harpoon. There is not much more on Mermaids since they are nearly extinct.

Kelpies:Image

A shape-shifting horse like water spirit said to haunt the rivers and streams of Scotland. Kelpies are said to have backward hooves and could change between horse and water. It is said that the horse would mate with a mortal horse and it's off spring would have golden wishing hooves. However when you approached the offspring it would suck you in and drowned you in the nearest body of water.The Kelpie was also known to lure humans, especially children into the water to kill and eat them. It usually does this by encouraging children to ride on its back, where its skin becomes sticky - almost adhesive - and it then drags them to the bottom of the water and devours them leaving only the heart or liver. There was one way in which a Kelpie could be defeated and tamed - the Kelpies' power of shape shifting was said to reside in its bridle, and anybody who could claim possession of it could force the Kelpie to submit to their will.

Serpents: Image

A sea serpent or sea dragon is a type of sea monster either wholly or partly serpentine. Often befriending Kelpies and Mermaids. Sea Serpents often enjoy tormenting people, and through the years have always been letting people see them so that urban legends can spread. They are actually quite joyous creatures, that can talk the language of humans, and often befriends humans. Though they also eat humans much like Kelpies, leaving the heart and liver, but they only eat the sick or old who are no longer of use to earth.

Now onto the Councils and Covens. For each Type of being there is one type of Council or Coven, ruling over them all is the High Council.


Covens:

Coven Of Moon High: Led by Alfric Rowenheim a Vampire from the High Council of Creatures. This Coven is made up of three species, though two if you count two of them as one. Which would be Vampires, Soul Eaters, and Soul Eatres. Since they are all a form of Vampire. This Coven is based solely on law, providing these creatures with the needed feeding range, and letting them (Very rarely) Create new Vampires.

Coven of Sun High: Led by Helena Cabbot a Fairy from the High Council of Creatures. This Coven is made up of a few different sub-species, such as Umbra, Witches, Fairies, and Elves whose powers all circle around magic. This Coven is made up of both Light Fae and Dark Fae, making it one of the most unbalanced Covens.

Coven of Full Moon: Werewolves being the anti-social creatures they are get one whole Coven to themselves. Led by Maraye Vashlovie a Werewolf of the high council. Werewolves from all over join in this Coven so that they may learn "Control" And how to keep themselves non-dangerous during the full moon.

Councils:

Pacific Council: Originating from the Pacific ocean, Shelly Hammond a Selkie from the High Council, leads this particular council, for Selkies, Kelpies, Mermaids, and Sea Serpents alike. Mainly because each of these creatures are fairly easy to kill or harm, and must be protected.

Woodland Council: Originating from deep within the forest and woods of the world, this Council was founded by Davic Shavele, a Dwarf of the High Council. This Council is home to Pixie, Dwarves, and Avis. For the preservation of Woodland creatures (Supernatural that is) Because of the dwindling species this is one of the most protective Councils, serving homes for these creatures and keeping them hidden.

Ghost Council: Led by Marie Womack, a wandering spirit of the High Council. Due to the many ghosts, and sub-species of ghosts, there has been a slight problem within this Council for years, non the less these people are intent on helping wandering Spirits, poltergeists, and every other form of ghost to cross over to the after life.

Zombie Council: Led by Darell Hanman, one of the first zombies to be created, also apart of the High Council. They protect Zombies, and make sure that they do not harm humans in any way (They eat worms, rats, and other small rodents/insects) and making sure that the zombies have the right "parts" that they need.

Now for a little bit of other info. There are several places beside the Council/Coven given territories that are crucial for these creatures existence.

The "Body" Shop: Located on the east side of Burrville, on East gate avenue, hidden among the shadows disguised as a normal body shop for cars. Within is actually a hustle and bustle of Zombies, all seeking new "parts" Such as eyes, arms, legs. Of course, this is the most busy place, since Zombies are always needing new parts.

The Cage: A Nightclub for Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, and the Occasional Human. Their symbol is a black bird, if you are a part of the club, then you naturally must show other supernaturals who you are by wearing a ring with a bird shaped stone on it. Humans are permitted to enter the club only as a "Snack" or "Friend" under the jurisdiction of the High Council, killing, seriously injuring, or turning a human is highly forbidden.

The Deadly Nightlocke: Another club, though this one is more along the lines of illegal, if your a human who stumbled upon the Deadly Nightlocke, you may find yourself ending up as a snack for some ruthless vampires, or the next meal for a Soul Eater. This is a club not under the supervision of the High Council, and is mainly not know to anybody. Unlike The Cage, the daywalkers (Vampires, Witches, Werewolves) of this club do not show off their symbol.

Hemlore's fine dining: A restraunt that can only be found by Supernaturals, they serve food to all creatures, no matter who they be.

So onto the CIU! (Finally)

Funded bye the Government these kids are geniuses, who either have shown signs of Extra Sensory powers, or just being that awesome (Just kidding) For the purposes of this roleplay there can only be one person to a power, first come first serve of course.

Telepathy: The ability to talk to people through your mind.

Telekinses: The ability to control objects/move objects.

Psychokineses: The ability to Move things with your mind. (Slight different from Telekinesis which lets you CONTROL objects)

Geokineses: The ability to control earth.

Pyrokineses: The ability to control fire.

Aerokinesis: The ability to create and control the wind.

Biokinesis: The ability to alter your genes into other human or animal forms.

Chronokinesis: The ability to slow down or speed up ones perception of time. You could also create time warps or worm holes.

Cyrokinesis: The abitity to create and control ice.

Electrokinesis: The ability to create and control electricity.

Hydrokinesis: The ability to create and control water.

Clairvoyance: Seeing the Future.

Alright so those are the powers. Let me warn you though that you can have two powers, but they must fit together. Such as if you had Hydrokinesis, you cannot have Pyrokinesis because the two powers would contradict each other. Things like Hydrokinesis and Cyrokinesis would fit together though seeing as they are both water based. Though I would prefer one power to a person (less fighting that way) some (Not all) can have two.

Powers that would fit together include.

Hydrokinesis/Cyrokinesis

Psychokinesis/Telepathy

Telepathy/Clairvoyance

Telekinesis/Psychokinesis

Chronokinesis/and any of the ones listed above. except the first two.

Powers that cannot have two will be every other one.

Other info on the CIU.

These people are not adults, they are children ages 10-19 who have under gone serious tests that show they have extra sensory abilities. There are the rare few older children who do not have powers, but exhibit extreme knowladge that lets them be apart of this team. They have been grouped together for one purpose and that is for testing to see if the Government can use then as better "Private investigators" Though they are deliberatly lying to these kids, they truly only want to do tests on them. Wich will be revealed later in the Role Play.

So now your probably wondering. How will this work, with the councils and everything. Well, I was thinking about Tabbing this, but instead I am going to do this the traditional forum way, and make several links for each Council, place, and other things. There will be two main tabs for the role play of course, with the CIU side and the Supernatural side, wich will merge together in a third main link once everything goes down as planned. Supernaturals can post on the CIU side, and CIU can post on the supernatural side. Anybody can post in the other places as well. And that is how this will work.

So...I have yet to elaborate on the High Council or the Adriac Council, so here it goes.

High Council: All of the Council leaders grouped together under one person called "Blade" They are there for the preservation of the Council/Covens, and govern over them, telling them what they can and cannot do. They preserve the supernatural world and keep it safe.

Adriac Council: By permission of the High Council, a Council made up of different types of creatures have come together. Nobody knows for what reason, but some think of it as a clan of a sorts. Though by day they are harmless, by night when the High Council isn't watching they are killing, kidnapping, and doing other things to humans. They are the founders of the Deadly Nightlocke, and are intent on destroying the human race.

Alright so you have the Species, Councils, Covens, Powers, CIU, and everything else you can imagine. So here I am, telling you I am currently being lazy so I am not typing anymore. Please tell me what you think, suggestions, reservations, anything will go.

Also, since I am lazy and I have reached over 4000 words and 20000 characters in this post, I will list any other things you ant to know below your questions.

I expect this for the most part to be unorganized, so I will be needing three other Gms to help me manage all of the separate areas. Sort of like, we each take on of the main places, then we can choose the other places we wish to govern over.

So if you would like to be a GM, just ask, tell me what you ant to govern over, and I will add you.

Also heres how this will go down, there will be three main places for the roleplay, all of the other places will be just or random "Or crucial" information. Or if you ahve writers block, go there in the time being lol. Places like the Body shop, The Cage, and blabbity blah will be the relaxation areas, intended to ass some light humor in.

Councils will not have their own place, only the High Council and Adriac Council will.
