Correction: Mississippi abortion amendment story (AP)

JACKSON, Miss. ? In a Nov. 8 report on voting in Mississippi on a proposed state constitutional amendment limiting abortion, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the United Methodist General Conference had opposed the proposal. The Mississippi bishop of the United Methodist Church voiced opposition, but the General Conference, which last met in 2008, did not take a position.
